Bore water retrieval can be a difficult task and only recently, it has been simplified with modern flexible hose technology. Our revolutionary Flexibore^® flexible rising main ensures simple and effective bore water retrieval. This layflat bore hose can be installed and retrieved with great ease compared to rigid pipes.

Flexibore^® is constructed by integrating thermoplastic polyurethane into a woven textile fabric of high tenacity polyester. The heavy-duty internal fabric gives the hose flexibility and great tensile strength in one continuous length. Since Flexibore^® hose can sustain both the submersible pump and water weight, no safety cable is required. Flexibore^® is a flexible riser that will suit many borehole applications and is compatible with most submersible pumps.

Travelling irrigation hose

Extruded or uncovered – your choice

Lancer^™ is a potable water transfer hose designed primarily for municipal use. Both the mining and chemical industries have also benefitted from this hose. Lancer^™ is first made with a polyester yarn jacket lined polyurethane (PU) liner and then receives an extruded nitrile rubber (PVC) cover.

Lancer^™ is suitable for temporary water by-pass when potability is essential. It is also suitable for high-pressure pumping in industrial applications. It is unaffected by UV degradation, plus is resistant to acids and other chemicals. The lightweight and low volume coil makes Lancer^™ easy to handle and store. This PU-lined hose is also available uncovered.

Lancer^™ is Australian made and manufactured in our ISO 9001 quality-accredited factory. It has Australian Standard AS 4020 approval for drinking water. It also conforms to German BGA DIN39 potability standard. Lancer^™ is backed by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults.

Sunnyflo^® is a braided layflat budget hose, which is ideal for lighter duty pumping applications in the industrial, irrigation and mining industries. Crusader Hose offers Sunnyflo^® for golf course irrigation, life-style farm living, discharging water from pump or water transfer. Mine dewatering efficiency

Mine dewatering is a key activity for many mining contractors. We manufacture the Waterlord^® hose which has the ability to remove large volumes of water from a mine quickly and safely. Waterlord^® is a heavy-duty and reliable layflat mine dewatering hose constructed by weaving a tight polyester fabric and using TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) thru-the-weave extrusion. It is a continuous length hose that can handle high-working pressure and tough abrasion so is suitable on rugged terrain.

Waterlord^® mine dewatering hose is reliable, compact, easy to handle and easy to deploy. Short lengths can be unrolled with little manpower. However, for long runs up mine walls and across pits, hose reel systems are required. These systems are used to rapidly deploy hose so that the water can be pumped out of the pit soon after the rains hit.

Fire hose with added protection

Cavalier^® is a fire hose with an extra coating which improves abrasion resistance plus keeps it clean. It is manufactured by weaving a polyester jacket and coating it for extra protection. The coating comes in a standard red but yellow and green is available too. This hose is easy to wipe clean after use and does not require drying.

Cavalier^® is a high-pressure Class H fire hose which is used to protect many commercial and industrial sites. It can also be used for high pressure wash-down applications. It is easy to roll up after use and it takes up little space in a fire cabinet.

Cavalier^® is manufactured in our ISO 9001 quality-accredited factory and can be fitted to a wide range of couplings.

Tough high-pressure hose

The Centurion^® is the fire hose of choice for professional fire-fighting brigades. Crusader Hose has been manufacturing this hose for over 35 years and has continuously improved is performance. It has been developed by understanding the tough and extreme conditions fire-fighters have to deal with.

This Class H hose is woven with spun polyester fibres which gives excellent abrasion resistance and flexibility. This hose is lighter and easier to handle compared to an extruded fire hose. Therefore, firefighters have less weight to carry when they run up or around a building. It is also easier to roll up and takes up less storage space compared to an extruded hose.

The spun polyester fabric is fully synthetic and does not require drying after use, although drying does prevent surface mould stains. Centurion^® has Australian Standard AS 2792 and Australian Defence Force DEF 5195A approval. It is used by the NSW Fire Brigade, the CFA, as well as the Australian Army.

Wide-range diameter hose

Excalibur^® is a woven layflat fire hose made from polyester with a polymer lining. It is lightweight and very flexible making it easy for almost anyone to handle put out fires. It is a popular choice for industrial and domestic fire protection.

Due to its synthetic construction it is mildew resistant and does not require drying. It can be easily rolled up and takes up little storage space as it coils compactly. It is stored in fire cabinets across many industrial sites and properties. By quickly opening the valve or starting the fire pump, Excalibur^® can help extinguish the fire before the brigades arrive.

Crusader Hose also offers the Excalibur^® as a ready-to-go Fire Hose Kit, complete with a shut-off nozzle and fitted couplings. This will connect directly to your fire pump and allows far reaching water spray. This is a major safety benefit for those living in bush-fire prone areas.

Versatile & tough

Fortex^™ is an extruded rubber hose for professional firefighting applications. It is made by weaving high tenacity yarns and covering the jacket with a synthetic rubber compound. This process creates a high-pressure fire hose which is abrasion and chemical resistant.

Fortex^™ is a type 3 fire hose. This means that it has a protective cover which can withstand heavy brigade use by being dragged across rough ground. It is also class H which is the highest-pressure rating for fire hose. This extruded rubber fire hose is maintenance free requiring only a wipe down after use, thus eliminating the need for drying.

We offer a wide range of couplings, which we securely fit to the hose and provide a test certificate if required. This hose has the Australian Standard AS 2792 and British Standard BS 6391 approvals.

Heavy-duty with added protection

Rapier^® is an extruded fire hose which means that it has a PVC/nitrile outer cover. It is classified as a Type 3 fire hose and is a popular choice for both fire brigades and for industrial plant protection. The extruded cover gives it protection against abrasion damage plus making it easy to wipe free of oils stains and dirt.

The extruded cover comes in a standard red colour but other colours such as yellow or blue can also be supplied. This can help differentiate between fire hose (red) and wash-down hose (blue) on the same industrial site.

Rapier^® requires no drying and is easy to store. It has Australian Standard AS 2792 and Australian Defence Force DEF 5195A approval. We offer a wide range of couplings, which we securely fit to the hose and provide a test certificate if required. This means that you can confidently protect your life and property with a fully approved and tested fire hose.

Fire hose for extreme fires

Sabre^™ is a percolating hose which means that water seeps through the fabric jacket. This is achieved by pin pricking the hose so that water can flow through the fabric jacket and offer protection against burning coals. A thin water barrier thus prevents the hose from getting burnt.

Sabre^™ is a Class H fire hose with a high working pressure of 2100 kPa. This woven fire hose is made from filament polyester with a synthetic polymer lining. It has Australian Standard AS 2792 approval including a low percolation rate. However, it can be made with higher percolation if required.

• MP – Medium Percolation
• HP – High Percolation

Sabre^™ is fully synthetic and does not perish due to moisture, unlike the original canvas percolating fire hose. It does not require drying after use, although drying does prevent surface mould stains.

Easy-to-use complete kit

Crusader Hose have used all their years of experience in manufacturing fire hose for the brigades to also come up with fire hose for rural property owners. We understand the risk of not having fire protection in bush fire prone areas and have prepared a Fire Hose Kit for use with fire pumps.

The Excalibur^® hose we use in our kit is easy to handle so that many members of a family or group can use this hose to protect their lives and property. It comes with a factory fitted couplings which are securely attached so it can handle the high pressure of your fire pump. There is also a nozzle connected so as soon as you get your pump going, water will be spraying onto the fire.

The Fire Hose Kit comes with options for a non-percolating hose or with percolating hose:

All Fire Hose Kits come in standard 20m (or 30m) lengths with crimped BSP fittings plus shut off nozzle. The coupling connects directly to your fire pump and so is ideal for quick deployment in times of an emergency.

Fuel transfer safety & efficiency

Petroline^® offers the best choice for the transfer of bulk chemicals and fuel. It is our specialised layflat hose suitable for the unloading or loading of petrol from tankers to vehicles and ship-to-shore fuel pumping. Petroline^® is an extruded hose using a polyurethane cover and lining encasing a woven polyester fabric jacket. The woven jacket provides the strength, while the polyurethane provides chemical and abrasion resistance. Each hose incorporates an anti-static wire for electrical continuity to reduce the incidence of spontaneous combustion. We offer a wide range of specially designed couplings for most fuel pumping applications.
