About Us

Fire System Services is a leading provider of specialized services for the Australian aviation charter, for fixed-wing aircraft, and rotary-wing aircraft including the offshore helicopter industry.

The workshop is conveniently located between Adelaide’s three significant Airports: 11 km from Adelaide Airport, 7 km from Parafield Airport, and 15 km from RAAF Base Edinburgh.

We specialize in testing and servicing aviation fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and service excellence.

Our key distinguishing feature is our fast turnaround for all servicing activities. We understand the critical importance of an “AOG” Aircraft On Ground, minimizing downtime for aircraft and strive to efficiently complete inspections, testing, and certification processes.

This commitment is crucial in ensuring that fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft can resume operations promptly and adhere to tight schedules.

Furthermore, Fire System Services is approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) under CAR-30, demonstrating compliance with stringent regulatory standards.

This certification ensures that our services adhere to the highest safety and quality benchmarks, providing confidence to clients in the Australian aviation industry.

Hydrostatic Testing

Please Note: when sending in a Bottle for a Hydrostatic Test, we require you to also send the page from the “CMM” Component Maintenance Manual with the approved data relating to the bottle service.

The test station can perform DOT Hydrostatic testing of your portable aviation Oxygen, Fire, and Inflation cylinders.

We test all brand’s portable Aviation Gas Cylinders. We offer Hydrostatic testing of onboard aircraft O2 cylinders. Have your mechanic remove and ship us your bottle.
