Fire Blanket Testing and Maintenance

To ensure fire blankets remain effective and compliant with Australian regulations, timely inspections and replacements are critical:

• Inspection Requirements (AS 1851-2012)
• Commercially installed fire blankets must be inspected every six months.
• Maintenance tags documenting inspections should be displayed near each blanket.

Replacement Guideline

Fire blankets are single-use items and must be discarded and replaced after use.

Upon completion, test reports will be emailed to the customer. Historical Data, including invoices, can be viewed and downloaded via a Free Access Customer Portal.
