We operate and manage an approved gas cylinder test station identified as number 720.

Are all Air Gun Gas Cylinders the Same
Our licensed gas cylinder test station and capabilities allow us to test and refill high-pressure air pistol & air rifle gas cylinders. Ranging from SCUBA steel or aluminum cylinders to composite SCBA gas cylinders.
There are four various Air Gun Gas cylinders available for use with Air Pistol and Air Rifle Guns.
- 200 bar seamless Steel Compressed Air Gas Cylinder
- 200 bar Seamless Aluminium SCUBA Cylinder
- 200 bar Seamless Steel SCUBA Cylinder
- 300 bar Seamless Steel SCUBA Cylinder
- 300 bar Composite SCBA Cylinder
The gas traffic that is typically used with these cylinders is High-Pressure Breathable Air.
Testing Requirements
Seamless Steel Air Compressed Gas Cylinder (Air Rifle, Air Gas Cylinder) are on a (10) yearly basis.
The seamless SCUBA Aluminium & Steel test cycle is on a (1) yearly basis.
The composite SCBA Cylinder test cycle is on a (5) five-yearly basis.
NB: It should be noted the Composite Bottles have a life cycle of (15) fifteen years from the date of manufacture.

Compressed Air Gas Cylinders
Fire System Services offers retesting services for Compressed Air Cylinders used with Air Rifles.
These Compressed Air Gas Cylinders must have an approved test stamp before the initial fill within the Commonwealth of Australia.
The test cycle for these cylinders is every 10 years, based on the date of manufacture or the last hydro test date.
Imported New Gas Cylinders
It should be noted that by the Gas Cylinder Test Scheme and AS2337 & AS2030.
Before getting re-gassed, any older cylinders must be checked to see if the Gas Cylinder Test Stamp is current.

Failing to do so leaves the operator and the re-filler at risk of injury and prosecution if someone is injured.
